October 2008 Portland, Oregon Inventory and Property Reports:

Market Conditions Ending October 31, 2008

The overall market continues to decline when compared to 2007’s real estate market. Pending sales fell almost 40% when comparing October 2008 to October 2009. Closed sales will take a dramatic hit for November. Total inventory increased from 10.4 months to 11.1 months. The average time on market for closed sales is 127 days.
