About Pohl Real Estate, LLC:
My name is Geoffrey Pohl. I was born and raised in Beaverton,
Oregon. Real estate, tennis and family are my passions. I’ve
been involved with real estate for ten years now. I started out as an investor and began investing in real estate by
purchasing homes, fixing them up and then either selling them,
offering lease-options or renting out the properties. I even
bought a home in Texas, drove down there, fixed it up and sold
it! I've worked for John L. Scott, who at the time was the
largest real estate company in Oregon, and I focused
primarily on residential resale. After this I felt it was
time to build relationships with builders and learn the ins and
outs of new construction so I connected with a company called
Cypress Marketing Group who marketed and sold homes for at the time Oregon's 4th largest residential home builder, JLS custom homes. Cypress Marketing Group primarily
represented one of Oregon's premier new construction companies
in the Portland area. After fine tuning and developing my new construction and resale skills I felt
it was time to start my own company. Pohl Real Estate, LLC was born.
An interesting note is, I breathe tennis ball fuzz and am well known in the Portland Area by tennis players. I’ve played
competitive tennis since I was 14, all the way thru college and
still to this day. It’s in incredible sport and an incredible
workout. I’ve done lots of coaching as well. I’ve coached the
boys Varsity team at Lincoln High School located in downtown
Portland, Oregon as well as coaching
little kids at West Hills Racquet Club (located on the west side
of Portland) and at Cascade Athletic
Club (located on the east side of Portland). If you are relocating to this area and want to play tennis
I know all the best locations to live and play. I've even
been known to give free lessons to client's who close a house
with me.
Another passion of mine is my family. Much of my family lives in
the Portland Greater Metropolitan Area so that is why I live
here. I’ve been married for 9 years to my amazing wife
Emily. I have a toddler named Sam. Besides working hard building Pohl Real Estate,
LLC
from the ground up, I love to spend time with family, exercise and travel.
This
industry is exhilarating and a great one to be part of especially
at this time when expertise and creativity are essential to my
clients' needs. I'm a hard working agent who loves
to work for
people who want to work with me. If you want an agent you can trust,
an agent who you will enjoy, and an agent who knows what they are
doing then I’m your man. I’m a no fluff and all action type of guy.
